Application

Upon receiving your application data we will confirm receipt of your data via email. The confirmation will contain your unique application registration number. We kindly ask you to use this number in all email contacts and banking transactions.
Upon receipt of this confirmation the application fee is due. Only after the application fee has been received will the application be valid.
Since the course capacity is limited every application is initially included in our application list. After termination of the application process (27 November 2023) the final selection of the participants takes place. Subsequently each participant will immediately be informed and receive a confirmation for his/her participation and an invoice. The course fees are due upon receipt of this invoice. In the event that the application cannot be confirmed by the Musikferien and the application fee has already been paid, we will reimburse this application fee. Should the participant cancel it’s application the application fee will not be refunded.

During the Musikferien we cannot provide childcare for participants under the age of 14. Therefore, a responsible accompanying person must be named for such participants. If a package is booked for one or more accompanying persons, we assume that one of these persons will be responsible for the care. For participants under the age of 14 who do not stay at the academy, we ask that you name the supervisor(s) in the comment field.

Master classes violin – Julia Fischer, Kirill Troussov

In order to apply you have to submit a video clip until 20 November 2023. 
Participants are selected by Julia Fischer and Kirill Troussov.
The master class Julia Fischer includes: One lecture on 3 January 2024 and one on the 4 January 2024 with piano accompaniment by concert pianists. Opportunity to perform in public during the evening concert on 3 or 4 of January 2024.
Participants of the master class violin Julia Fischer are responsible for their own accommodation and meals. The organizational team will do its best to help you by providing links and making recommendations.
The master class Kirill Troussov includes: 4 teaching units of 45 minutes each. Schedule is decided by Mr. Troussov. For in-depth studies experienced Korrepetitors are available.

All participants of the Musikferien and the registered persons accompanying them are welcome to attend the master classes free of charge.

Musikferien am Starnberger See 2024 – fees and  conditions of payment

Course fees include costs for practice rooms and instruments, participation in the orchestra and performance in the evening concerts as well as free access to the master classes as passive participant. Students and accompanying persons who reside at the Academy also have free access to the opening concert.

2. Fee for a course in violin, violoncello, chamber music, piano,
kreativ und zeitgenössisch: 380€
3. Fee for master class by Julia Fischer: 500€ + application fee
4. Fee for master class by Kirill Troussov: 500€ + application fee
5. Accommodation and meals for participants up to the age of 12: 390€
6  Accommodation and meals for participants above the age of 12: 480€
7. Accommodation and meals for participants of Masterclass Violin, Julia Fischer, 320€ (2NB, 1 Lunch, 2 Dinner)
8. Accompanying persons: 580€. This includes accommodation, meals, free entry to the opening concert with Julia Fischer and free entry to the master classes. Half-board can be arranged upon request.
9. Meals for participants who do not reside in the Academy are not contained in the course fee. For those participants and other guests it is possible to book meals in the Academy restaurant.
Prices for 2024 are: breakfast 13.00€ lunch 21.50€, dinner 17.50€.
Children up to 12 years pay half the price. Those meals have to be booked at the reception desk by 9 o’clock on the previous day and have to be paid there.

The application fee is due once the application has been confirmed. If the applicant does not receive a confirmation for participation, the application fee will be refunded. If the participant cancels the application after receiving the confirmation for participation, the application fee will not be refunded.

All fees for course participation, accommodation and meals are due upon receipt of the confirmation of participation and the respective invoice. If we have not received those fees by 22 December 2023, the course can be assigned to another applicant.
